Makenzi Wrinkle ~

"possibilities" ~ (full day)
The possibilities are endless when you release your inner artist! Mak will discuss her creative process and design techniques to help get imaginations stirring. Then using a simple template (such as the posted image) as a starting point, you can develop a unique piece based on your personal artistic esthetic. With your specially selected cabochon, you will learn/reinforce bezel setting, soldering techniques, forming and texturing. Bracelet? Pendant? Ring? The choice is yours and with Mak's guidance, possibility becomes reality!

Best Buddies bracelets ~ (half day)

These sweet little bracelets will work up so quickly, you can make one for yourself and another for your best buddy! A variety of stones will be available to select from and Mak will lead you through all the intricacies of creating these little beauties. A fun, relaxing and satisfying way to end your retreat experience!

Simple Gifts ~ (full day)

This workshop will explore the countless possibilities of forming beautiful beads out of metal clay. Using gold/bronze clay, artists will learn the basics of metal clay work and practice texturing and forming lentil beads (like the one pictured). Other 3 dimensional bead techniques will be presented as well as exploration of additional design and embellishment possibilities. Beads will be kiln fired, tumble polished and ready for hanging and gift giving!
